In 2025, with the disbanding of the Island City Lion’s Club, we lost the beloved Hog Wild Days Flea Market.  This year, 2026, there IS going to be a resurgence of Hog Wild Days.  There is a resident who has done some research on what Hog Wild Days was at the beginning, and it was a Community Garage/Yard Sale Day!

This year, during the regular Hog Wild Days weekend, June 5-7, 2026, there will be a number of garage/yard sales in Island City!  We have a resident who will be working on getting more information out to the public about how to register your garage/yard sale, and be placed on a map to be shared with everyone.  

Please plan to participate and find treasures from your neighbors and sell some of yours as well!
