Help Needed
Your help is needed!!!! We have a few open Board Positions for the Sanitation District as well as the Cemetery District.
Sanitation District:
Board Position #5: Unexpired term ending June 30, 2029
Sanitation District Board Members attend a once a month meeting (2nd Wednesday of the month at 1p (which can be changed to accommodate ALL board members)), as well as serve as Budget Committee Members for the Sanitation District. During the once a month meeting, Board Members review information about the Sanitation District's finances, and receive reports of the maintenance, upkeep and general condition of all sanitation lines and lift stations. All Board Members receive a stipend for the meetings they attend, paid in June. Nothing hands-on in the field!!!
Cemetery District:
Board Position #1: Vacant
Board Position #2: Unexpired term ending June 30, 2027
Board Position #4: Vacant
Cemetery District Board Members attend a once a month meeting (2nd Thursday of the month at 11a (which can be changed to accommodate ALL board members.)), as well as serve as Budget Committee Members for the Cemetery District. Board Members are also educated on the Cemetery software, to be able to help locate open burial plots as well as the final resting places for those who have already passed; input information after plots are sold, and when someone has passed away and is intered. Board Members are also responsible for the mapping and marking of plots, and work with all Funeral Homes in the area and beyond. If you have time on your hands, and have a compassionate heart to help those who are hurting right after their loved one passes, this position is for YOU! All Board Members receive a stipend for the meetings they attend, paid in June.
